In 2024, YFC officially put into operation a new 1:1 full scale brake friction test bench in its R&D laboratory. The equipment can simulate real train braking conditions including axle load, speed, temperature and friction curve, providing accurate and repeatable test data.
The test bench significantly shortens the development cycle of new friction materials and supports customized formula development for overseas clients. It also strengthens YFC's capability to provide official test reports for customs clearance and rail operator audits.
